Sarah Ponder
If you feel yourself melting when you hear Sarah sing, you can join the club! Her world class alto sound has been featured in the Chicago area for years, with credits including the Chicago Symphony, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Chicago a cappella, Grant Park Music Festival, and in outreach collaborations with Yo-Yo Ma and Ricardo Muti. Sarah is a deep musician who can sing in any style, and she shares her skills as a teacher on faculty at Loyola University and the University of Illinois at Chicago. A perfect day to Sarah is reading in bed, rowing with fellow breast cancer survivors in the group Recovery on Water, spending several hours playing with a new makeup look, preparing a dinner party with too many courses, and playing Dungeons and Dragons or something "nerdy" with her boyfriend and loved ones.
